What’s Sitecore.HabitatHome.Platform?

HabitatHome Demo and the tools and processes in it is a Sitecore® solution example built using Sitecore Experience Accelerator™ (SXA) on Sitecore Experience Platform™ (XP) following the Helix architecture principles.

Prerequisites

Getting started

Preparation

  • Clone the source code to your local (i.e. D:\sitecore)

  • Switch to release/9.0.2 branch
  • Open the cake-config.json by any text editor then modify the following setting values: WebsiteRoot, XConnectRoot, ProjectFolder

  • Open the PowerShell in administrative mode, and change location to the folder that was cloned from Github

Set-Location D:\sitecore\Sitecore.HabitatHome.Platform

Deploy only Sitecore.HabitatHome.Content

  • Execute the Cake script as below

.\build.ps1

[*] Publish the sites

[*] Re-build the indexes

Finally, It’s done

Let open the browser; then access the Url – https://habitathome.dev.local. Here it is
